Portfolio · NotesA browser beside the chat doesn’t make it collaborative
The search can change while the assistant is still working with the old context.

Imagine asking your favourite AI tool to find a replacement for your car. It does the work, finds a bunch of listings and even opens a browser beside the chat. Pretty great, right?
But then you visit the site, see an interesting recommendation, refine the search a little—and that’s it. The AI’s context and what you’re actually considering are already out of sync. To bring them back together, you have to tell the AI everything that’s changed. Not great.
You’re like: “Come on, let’s build a copilot! Same window, but with context steering.” Then you go through the scenarios and realise a copilot is only needed in 2% of them. You start defending your favourite solution, but it gets harder to ignore: it’s time to look for something else.
As for synchronising the context, I’m not going into that yet. It’s still a work in progress.
