Portfolio · NotesWhen memory starts scaling a mistake
An unconfirmed guess can spread across services through shared memory.

If someone looks at a couple of apartments and we record that they’re planning to move, the assistant will start helping with a task they never set. Suggesting mortgages, recommending neighbourhoods, sending house-hunting reminders. The person now has to correct our guesses about their life.
The more products use that shared memory, the more expensive the mistake becomes. One unconfirmed assumption starts shaping answers and recommendations across different services. We scale the mistake along with the assistant.
So browsing should remain a signal until the intent is confirmed. A confirmed search becomes a task with current requirements; a completed search gets closed. And a correction needs to apply everywhere that memory is used. Otherwise, the person will keep explaining the same mistake to the system.
